The average time it takes the average webmaster that uses spintax – even the good guys – is hours…when they should be spending DAYS or more on it.
LinkedIn People think that they can take shortcuts and rank on top for any keyword they want, but you will never get the same content from a spinner that you could if you were to just sit down and have someone write it up for you. Sure, you could always outsource your work to a great content writer, but you may not have the financial backing to do so.

Thanks for your comment Eva. Many of these article spinner sites say that the spun articles pass copyscape, but even if this is true, I'm still not an article spinning fan. I've seen too many poor quality articles that are obviously spun. It's also not fair to the original writer if somebody comes along and just takes that writer's original work to spin it and then possibly earn an income of sorts from it. That's like saying they can earn an income off some work YOU did. You may have spent a lot of time researching a topic for your article, and then somebody comes along and just takes it and uses it because they feel it will be different after they've spun it?? I don't believe it's ethical to spin articles in this way. If somebody has taken an article of yours, spun it, but gives you credit for the original article (and you don't mind this happening) at least be sure that they haven't spun it badly - you don't want it to look like you don't write well. I'm not sure if spinning articles falls under plagiarism, because, as you say, the spun articles are different to the original. There are so many web and blog pages online that it could be quite easy to sometimes come across an article that is similar to another one, even though it wasn't even spun. If many people have knowledge about a topic, and many of those people write about it, it is quite likely that two or more very similar articles could both end up somewhere online. I'm not sure what other people like doing. I like to write what I think are unique articles - and if there happens to be a very similar one out there, it's not because I already saw it and used it in a spinner. I had to spin articles for somebody once, more than a year ago, and I didn't feel comfortable doing it, even though the articles I were spinning were not already online. It just didn't seem right. I may look into that "how widespread spinning is on plagiarized articles" sometime!
